What is Thresholdism?
A Game-Based Approach to Self-Improvement Across ALL Aspects of Life for the Curious Learner
Thresholdism is a game that helps you grow as a person.
You can grow in three different states of yourself:
your knowledge
your character
your skills
Knowledge is what you learn from books, people, and the world.
Character is what you value, how you behave, and how you form relationships.
Skills are what you can do with your hands, your mind, and your body.
You can grow these states in two different levels:
simple and complex.
Simple level is when you learn the

basic facts
Complex level is when you understand the
connections
implications
deeper meanings
The balanced triangle is a symbol that shows how you can play the game.
It means that you can divide the three states of yourself into two parts.
For example:
You can split your knowledge into conceptual and factual
You can split your character into behavioral and analytical
You can split your skills into practical and creative
By doing this, you can have fun in a world that is not the same as the real one.
You can pretend that you are someone else, or that you are in a different place, or that you are in a different time. If you want to.
The game board is everything that makes you who you are
right now.
The game board is always changing, because you are always changing.
It is the sum of your knowledge, your character, and your skills.
It is also the sum of your past, your present, and your future.
It is the part of you that is always aware and always free.
It is the part of you that can never die or be in one place.
The player is a part of the real world that is always the same.
The player sometimes acts like a person on the game board.
This is called an avatar.
The avatar is the part of you that is born and dies.
It is the part of you that is limited by time and space.
The player can try different things in different situations as an avatar.
These situations are called domains.
A domain is a specific area of life such as but not limited to:
art
sex
past
play
faith
logic
facts
math
goals
future
fitness
present
writing
devotion
nutrition
intimacy
relations
vacations
education
leadership
landscapes
regulations
movements
atmosphere
expressions
experiences
explorations
psychologies
architectures

The player can use domains to learn from what happened before to what might happen next.
These are called memories and probabilities.
A memory is something that you remember from your past.
A probability is something that you expect from your future.
Playing the game is about choosing what you want to do and doing it.
You can switch between doing what you want and doing what you feel.
Doing what you want is called intention.
Doing what you feel is called qualia.
Intention is when you decide what to do based on your
goals
values
beliefs
Qualia is when you do what you want based on your
emotions
intuitions
sensations
The goal is to make all parts of your life better by thinking and acting.
Thinking is when you reflect on your experiences and learn from them.
Acting is when you apply what you learned and create new experiences.
By thinking and acting, you can improve your knowledge, your character, and your skills.
You can also improve your past, your present, and your future.
Players then change their game board by doing something different.
They do this by learning.
Learning occurs when a domain changes from one state to another.
For example,
Learning can change your knowledge from what you don’t know to what you know.
Learning can change your character from what you don’t like to what you like.
Learning can change your skills from what you can’t do to what you can do.
Players then use what they learned and apply it in their domain.
Players apply learning by using a strategy.
This strategy changes their game board from one state to another.
For example,
A strategy can change your past from what you regret to what you appreciate.
A strategy can change your present from what you want to what you have.
A strategy can change your future from what you fear to what you hope.
Players keep changing until they win.
{The game also helps you read better. It does this by using a process that changes your reading ability from simple to complex. For example, this process can change your reading from words to sentences, from sentences to paragraphs, from paragraphs to pages, from pages to books.}
When you play well, you see the real world as it is.
The real world is beyond
your past, your present, and your future.
your intention, your qualia, and your strategies.
your game board, your player, and your avatar.
your knowledge, your character, and your skills.

The real world is everything.
You win when you become the best version of yourself
Becoming the best version of yourself is when you equally balance your
deepest knowledge

But the best thing is to realize that you really are a part of the world that can
create anything

You are everything.
You are the real world.
You are the one who can create anything and love everything.
